Refund policy
At Charmed & Bound, we’re committed to getting the right love story (and the perfect bookish merch) into your hands. As a small, independently owned romance bookstore, every purchase truly matters. And so does making sure you’re happy with it.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Once your return is received, if approved, a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Books
- Books may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt.
- Books must be unused, unread, and in original condition (no spine creases, bent covers, annotations, or damage).
- Returns made after 14 days will only be issued as store credit.
Merchandise
- Merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt.
- Items must be unused and in original packaging.
- Apparel must be unworn and unwashed.
- Returns made after 14 days will be issued as store credit.
- Sale items, seasonal merchandise, and mystery items are final sale.
Blind Dates
- Blind Dates must be returned within 7 days of purchase date with a valid receipt.
- Blind date books must be returned with original wrapping and attached stickers & bookmark.
- Blind Date returns will be issued as store credit only.
Exceptions/Final Sale
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on subscriptions, special orders, signed copies, discounted books, event tickets, and gift cards. These items are final sale.

We hand pick every item in our shop with you in mind and, unlike big-box retailers, we work with tighter margins and limited stock.
